What is A2 Ghee, and why is it better than regular ghee? 

A2 Ghee is made exclusively from the milk of indigenous cow breeds (like Gir and Kankrej), which contains only the A2 beta-casein protein. This protein is considered easier to digest and less inflammatory than the A1 protein found in milk from foreign/cross-bred cows.

Where do you source the milk for your ghee?

We proudly source the milk exclusively from our family-owned farm, where we raise indigenous cow breeds (Gir and Kankrej) in natural, free-grazing environments. This direct, hands-on approach ensures we maintain the highest standards of cow welfare and guarantees the exceptional quality and purity of the A2 milk used in our ghee.

How does the Bilona method differ from commercial ghee?

Commercial ghee is often made directly from cream (malai) using large machines. Our Bilona method involves turning the whole A2 milk into curd, then hand-churning the curd to extract butter (makkhan) before clarifying it. This traditional process retains significantly more nutrients, flavour, and a natural granular texture.
